Jonathan Smy, managing director of SMY IT Services, is an IT strategy, computer support and solutions expert who has been servicing the industry for 18 years.
In that time, he spent four and a half years as the Head of Technology at a reputable IT company before branching out on his own to create SMY IT Services in 2014.
His experience in his previous role includes bringing technical innovation through managed services to SME businesses, managing project installations and building relationships with stakeholders.
Carl Green joined SMY IT Services as Head of Technology in 2016 bringing with him 23 years’ worth of experience in the IT sector.
Throughout his career, Carl has clocked up an impressive wealth of experience supporting all aspects of customer networks including installing new servers and configuring network firewalls.
While every day as the Head of Technology is different, helping to identify and implement the best technology for customers is a big part of Carl’s role at SMY IT Services.
“Growing up, I had always wanted to become a policeman and it wasn’t until starting my career in IT as a helpdesk team leader, that I realised I had a real passion and flair for IT.”
Steve Hawley is the newest addition to SMY IT Services having joined the team in January 2021.
Steve’s extensive knowledge of telecoms, physical networks and Office 365 comes after serving the IT sector in a range of different roles for more than 20 years.
With qualifications in O365, a combination of the full Microsoft Office Suite of apps which we use to create spreadsheets, emails and documents and NFON, a cloud telephone provider used for business communication, Steve’s knowledge allows him to provide support to businesses on a range of issues.
