UK, US, and Australian cyber experts are warning of a “growing wave of increasingly sophisticated ransomware attacks”. Lindy Cameron, the chief executive of the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), has warned that ransomware is “a rising global threat with potentially devastating consequences”.
